| | I could tell y'all about the move. I could maybe tell you how much work has kicked me around. I could tell you how awesome our new apartment is. I could even tell you how I tried to sit down in a chair at work and it slid away from me and I landed rather uncerimoniously on my rear end. However, none of these compare to the quest which I completed yesterday. I bought a new toaster. Since I moved out on my own six years ago, I have never owned a toaster that I purchased myself. Living in the dorms, I didn't need one. When I had the apartment with Brian and later Kenn, they each provided the toaster. When I moved to Dallas, Jenny gave me a second hand piece of junk that barely toasted bread when turned up all the way. We've used it for the last four years. Yesterday, finally, I bought a new one. And it has buttons. I can select toast, bagel, warm, and something else. There's a pretty knob to adjust toasting strength. I have yet to actually try it out yet... but soon I will. And don't think I was alone in this quest... it was my wife Jenny who found it and led me to its lair. Without her guidance, I would still be unenlightened. Soon I will regale you with tales of our move and apartment, but until then, rejoice for the toaster. With buttons.
